The Bosch Series 6 60cm Built-Under Dishwasher combines powerful cleaning performance, flexible loading and smart connectivity to make everyday dishwashing easier. With a generous 14-place setting capacity, eight wash programs and a quiet 44dB operating noise level, it is well suited to busy households. The anti-fingerprint stainless steel finish provides a contemporary look while helping minimise visible marks.
The Extra Clean Zone in the upper basket delivers targeted cleaning for heavily soiled dishes. Three rotating spray nozzles direct additional water onto items positioned above them, helping remove stubborn food residue. With eight wash programs, including Eco, Auto, Pots & Pans, Quick 1h and ExtraQuiet, you can select the appropriate cleaning cycle for different loads. Additional options such as HygienePlus, Extra Dry and SpeedPerfect provide greater control over washing and drying results.
Max Flex baskets provide versatile storage for plates, bowls, glasses and cookware. The RackmaticPlus system allows the upper basket to be adjusted across three height levels, creating additional space for taller items. Foldable plate racks, an extra third rack and a movable cutlery basket make it easier to organise different loads, while smooth-gliding basket mechanisms simplify loading and unloading.
Bosch's EcoSilence Drive uses a brushless motor to deliver reliable, energy-efficient performance with reduced operating noise. The hydroDry heat exchanger supports condensation drying, while DosageAssist helps detergent tablets dissolve effectively for consistent cleaning results.
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to monitor and manage your dishwasher through the Home Connect app. A time remaining display and adjustable delay start provide additional convenience, while the Favourite function offers quick access to preferred wash settings. With a 4-star energy rating, 5-star WELS water rating and AquaStop Plus water protection, this dishwasher combines everyday efficiency with practical functionality and added peace of mind.

ExtraDry for a perfect finish
You shouldn’t have to dry your dishes after your dishwasher is done cleaning them. With just the touch of a button, activating this unit’s ExtraDry option uses higher temperatures during the rinse cycle and a longer drying phase to ensure every dish and utensil is perfectly dried.
DosageAssist for optimised washing
To maximise the effectiveness of your detergent tablets, and to achieve an overall better cleaning performance, DosageAssist drops the tablets into a special tray which is targeted by water jets, for an evenly dissolved tablet. This system prevents detergent residue while thoroughly cleaning your dishes.
EcoSilence Drive for quiet operation
Entertain guests without distractions or relax at home in peace thanks to the EcoSilence Drive. This motor is engineered with a brushless design to ensure extremely quiet operation without compromising on performance, efficiency, and durability.

I'm glad we changed from a F&P dishdrawer to this.
Coming from an 8-year-old F&P DishDrawer, I absolutely love this Bosch SMU6HAS01A dishwasher. It cleans better (even on the 60-minute quick cycle) and dries better too (including plastics).
The only downside compared to a dual DishDrawer is that when a cycle is running, there’s nowhere to put dirty dishes. But in every other way, this Bosch is a huge improvement.
What really surprised me is that one Bosch cycle uses about the same water and energy as a single DishDrawer, yet it holds around 2.5x more and cost about $1,000 less.
I nearly didn’t buy it because of some of the negative Series 6 reviews online. Very glad I did.
Very quiet dishwasher
Very happy after the first week of use. This machine is very quiet, cleans well and has good options for wash cycles. It uses a cutlery basket rather than a tray, and it has good height in the top level for wine glasses. I really like the minimalist exterior and hope it lasts as long as our last Bosch dishwasher! The AOL prices and service are also excellent- I would definitely use them again.
Works well but it's noisier than I expected
I've owned this dishwasher for a few weeks. It cleans the dishes however, I believe it is noisier than the series 4 Bosch that I had owned previously. I'm often checking/rechecking that items aren't touching the spinning arms (theyre never touching) because it sounds clunky.
The eco wash takes more than 3 hours to finish, the series 4 was 20-30 minutes faster for the same cycle.
