Home Clearance is now Appliances Online Clearance

Here’s why we changed our name and how delivery works.

Our name change

In 2026, we changed our name from Home Clearance to Appliances Online Clearance.

Home Clearance was founded in 2016 as an offshoot of Appliances Online and became the go-to destination for end-of-line, unboxed and lightly marked appliances. Many people didn’t realise we were part of the Appliances Online family, though, so we brought our brand back into the fold to reassure customers that our clearance division is part of one of Australia’s largest and most trusted appliance retailers.

How our delivery works

Our mission is still to offer you the best prices on appliances and home furnishings. But our clearance discounts are so steep, and the cost of storing and moving heavy goods so high, that absorbing freight became unsustainable.

To keep our product prices as low as possible, we charge a $50 flat delivery fee per order. Separating delivery from the item price means we can keep offering the massive discounts you expect from us, and if you buy more than one item, they’ll all be covered by the same fee.

For your convenience, we’ll also unbox and connect most washers, microwaves, non-plumbed fridges and freezers, and freestanding dryers and TVs (not wall-mounted) at no extra charge, provided the necessary connections are in place.

Got questions?

If you have any queries about our change of name, product range or delivery and connection, email us at clearance@appliancesonline.com.au or call 1300 002 500.

We’re confident Appliances Online Clearance will remain your best and most reliable destination for low-priced end-of-line, unboxed and lightly marked appliances, and we look forward to helping you find your next upgrade or replacement.
